HELLO :)

My name is Mr. McKenney, this is my 12th year teaching, and I will be your Geometry teacher this year. I am extremely excited to be able to assist you in passing the class and also preparing for your future education. As we get to know each other, please don't hesitate to reach out to me if I can be of help in some way, especially math related.

In this course you will learn to (just to name a few):

Understand congruence in terms of rigid motions.
Prove geometric theorems.
Define trigonometric ratios and solve problems involving right triangles.
Apply trigonometry to general triangles.
Find arc lengths and areas of sectors of circles.
Explain volume formulas and use them to solve problems.
Use the rules of probability to compute probabilities of compound events in a uniform probability model.
